We consider an "Event," a 1, 2 or 3 day long training.  We are proven experts at maximizing ROI for short duration training sessions. Prospective Clients are often skeptical at what we can achieve in a short period of time – as well they should be. We are pleased to report that these same once skeptical Prospects are now raving Client fans.

 

Do not expect deep, divisive issues heaped with years of neglect to magically disappear by spending a day or two with Learning Unlimited.  That is, unless your team or organization is dedicated to the daunting task of intense and vigorous follow up on the topics and/or skills covered in our time together.  You will constantly see reference in this website to “awareness” being just that – awareness.  And awareness does not equal instant behavior change.  If that were the case then our “awareness” of the behaviors in which we engage that is bad for ourselves, others, our organization, our bottom lines would certainly be cause to change our behaviors immediately.  While this concept is simple AND true, our individual experiences demonstrate that we adults rarely respond in so simplistically a way.  Our behaviors are exceedingly complex and rooted in deep habits ingrained over long periods of time.  They are generally not the result of exposure to a single or even multiple events, but many.  Changing one’s behavior is an arduous and long-term commitment requiring a high degree of self-awareness followed by self-management that can only be achieved through disciplined application of new behaviors.  An examination of Daniel Goleman’s work on Emotional Intelligence is an excellent reference for understanding the challenges faced in changing behaviors.  We use his various texts to support our training methodologies.
